During the 7 years that I lived in Peruvian Amazon rainforest, I had the opportunity to meet and learn from self-taught artists of the forest. Their paintings are full of beauty, exuberance, and mysteries. The simplicity and authenticity of their work is something that is missed in the contemporary art world.
