Ritual: exhibition of Peruvian artists at Austellungsraum EULENGASSE

From 10 to 26 January 2025, Ausstellungsraum EULENGASSE will present the exhibition Ritual: Faith and Overcoming. Views of Peruvian Artists. In this exhibition, six renowned Peruvian artists explore the identity, culture and rituals of their country through contemporary works of art.

The participating artists are: Arturo Laime, Mónica Pasco, Cecilia Carrión, Pancho Guerra-García, Ignacio Macha and Monica Moscol. Each brings a unique perspective on themes such as faith, resistance and their connection to cultural roots.

The artworks on display combine traditional and innovative approaches to shed light on the stories and myths of Peru. The public is invited to take a journey through the diverse forms of artistic expression emerging from the heart of the country, where ancient rituals and modern visions intertwine in captivating ways.

The opening of the exhibition (Vernissage) will take place on Friday, 10 January at 19:00 h at Austellungsraum EULENGASSE, Seckbacher Landstraße 16, 60389 Frankfurt am Main: The closing (Finissage) will take place on Sunday, 26 January, from 15:00 to 19:00 h.

Supplementary programme: In addition to the exhibition, there will be guided tours, talks with the artists and workshops offering a deeper understanding of the works and their contexts. Details of these activities will be published on the EULENGASSE website.
