About this artwork

A female nude painting is often a synonym of eroticism. While painting this nurse, I was interested in the seduction game between couples. Keeping the flame alive in a relationship is a daily work, and like with art, creativity is key. Using costumes to play with the partner is a funny way to bring novelty to the relationship. Far from objectifying women, I believe that they can take the sexual power in their hands.

This piece was made using a framed canvas. I started with a layer of acrylic as background, and then many oil layers were added. The model was a lady found in an old erotic magazine. I imagined the background, as a beautiful bedroom illuminated by candles, with a sense of comfort and cosiness.

I started this painting some time ago, but after hearing all that people talking about sickness and worry, I rush to finish this piece, to create “the treatment” to grab our attention for a second and light up our lives with beauty.
